Hello, I'm Philip Horton and I'm a graphic designer.
I left college with a First Class Honours degree in Photomedia & Design Communication, though my first love is illustration. Inspired by American and British comic artists, I have been influenced by the works of Norman Rockwell, Alfons Mucha and early illustrators such as Gustave Doré. I particularly enjoy working with pen and ink, and painting with watercolour but I'm open to using any media for the optimum effect.
Career highlights include exhibiting my work at New Designers in London twice and appearing in Disorder magazine and the American catalogue Previews. I have also won the Kensa Merit Award two years consecutively and the Company of Designers Code 100 Award.
